CPP (PPofA Certified)

Certified Professional Photographer (CPP or PPofA Certified) - Awarded by the Professional Photographers of America.   Achieved through a combination of testing and minimum photographic qualification.   This is the first step towards a degree.

 

Cr.Photog.

Photographic Craftsman Degree awarded by the Professional Photographers of America.   Achieved through the teaching of other photographers.   If held in conjunction with the Master's Degree, it is listed as M.Photog, Cr.

M.Photog.

Master of Photography Degree awarded by the Professional Photographers of America.   Achieved through excellence in photographic competitions and education.   This is the highest earned degree awarded by the Professional Photographers of America.

API

Approved Photographic/Imaging Instructor.   Designation by PPofA that the holder has undertaken instructor training from PPofA.   Not a degree, but a certification designation.

 

F-TPPA

Full Fellowship awarded by the Texas Professional Photographers Association.   Combination of service to TPPA and high scoring photographs at TPPA Competition.

 

AF-TPPA

Associate Fellowship awarded by the Texas Professional Photographers Association.   Achieved through service and volunteer effort to TPPA.

 

F-FWPPA

Full Fellowship awarded by the Metroplex Professional Photographers Association.   Achieved through service to the FWPPA and photographic print competitions.  

 

AF-FWPPA

Associate Fellowship awarded by the Metroplex Professional Photographers Association.   Achieved through service to the FWPPA and other professional organizations.
